Before
entering the real estate industry full-time, I worked as a structural designer
for over 20 years. My real estate journey began in 2002 with the purchase of my
first condo, and I've been investing in properties ever since. In 2003, I
obtained my real estate license, understanding the ever-changing market and the
importance of having the best help when negotiating a real estate transaction.
As a Ukrainian immigrant, I faced many professional design and real estate
challenges because I was a single parent of two kids with two jobs. In March
2009, I let my Colorado real estate license expire.
My
journey in real estate took an unexpected turn in 2020. After becoming empty
nester, my fiance, Joe, and I decided to move to Charlotte, a city we had fallen
in love with. However, the Covid pandemic disrupted our plans. In December
2020, I found myself among the many who were unemployed. This setback, however,
has only fueled my determination to succeed in the real estate industry.
In
August 2022, we purchased our new home in Charlotte, next to Fort Mill, South
Carolina. Joe and I enjoy working on our house and making it ours. While
working on our home projects, we acquired woodworking skills and incorporated
design skills into them. I love crocheting, crafting, and needling in my spare
time. Gardening has become my passion here in the Carolinas, and I enjoy our
Southern living.
